500 sales of Paisley Power hand-made products

Due to the popularity of my unique Prince design and my Paisley Rats design, I reached a total of 500 online sales. I have now permanently closed my old Etsy shop and I was very excited to open my new Paisley Power shop, hosted by Squarespace. I am sure Paisley Power customers will be happy to buy my hand-made products in the new shop because there have been 108 excellent reviews of my products already posted online by the satisfied customers.

Sales of hand-made products and unique fabrics designed by Patrick Moriarty, have reached 500. The Paisley Prince Songbook zip bag is one of the popular products helping to reach this milestone of 500.
The milestone of 500 has been reached due to popular products such as the Prince zip bag, which is now available in the new Paisley Power shop.

The Paisley Prince Songbook zip bag is one of the most popular products I have ever created. Customers are very savvy these days and will buy products that have outstanding reviews and clear stylish product photos. I check every item carefully before it is dispatched. I want my customers to come back to my online shop and buy more. I have also sold lots of fabric online. People like to buy fabric samples so that they can see how clearly my designs are printed, the accuracy of the colours and the quality of the fabric. Promotional campaigns for my printed fabrics has been a great success with the customers. The continue to visit my Spoonflower shop to buy yards of digitally printed fabric.

The Prince design was only launched in 2019 and hundreds of items have been sent to lots of countries including US, UK, Japan, Australia, Belgium, France, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and Sweden. Here is a photo taken by Naomi in Japan when her Paisley Power zip bag arrived at her home.

New products are constantly being added to the Etsy shop. I listen to my customers and if they request a unique new product and I think it is a good idea, I will make more so I can sell them to other people. A good idea should always be shared! Recently Niki Cornish requested a Paisley Rats tea towel. I created a wide selection of Paisley Rats products, which have been well received in the last few years.

As soon as I listed the tea towels as a new product in my online shop, customers began to buy them. Alix in Belgium posted a very positive 5-star review on April 15th 2019 “the Perfect utensil for a rat lover woman”. She is obviously very fond of rats and maybe she has a pet rat.

My cushion collection is very popular. They are all made with my unique printed designs, all of which I drew by hand on paper originally. A customer recently bought a Paisley Cats cushion, which I sent to his home in Bloomsbury, London.

I am a textile print designer and create unique designs for fashion, accessories and home furnishing. I played Keyboards in bands until i was 35, then I retrained as a textile designer. I design fashion prints every day for major international retailers. In 2014 I formed the brand Paisley Power to enable me to promote my designs to a wider worldwide audience. I enjoy introducing new designs to my collection and receiving ideas, feedback and suggestions from my friends and customers. My products have been on display at the Beecroft Art Gallery, Southend-on-Sea since January 2017. Visitors to the gallery buy the products as gifts. The sale of the Paisley Power products contributes to the running costs of the gallery. The best part of being a designer is being inspired every day by all cultures and environments and to interpret them into your own unique creations. In 2018 I developed a unique method of teaching printed textile design. It enables students to create a repeat pattern in less than 3 hours. I began teaching the course at METAL Art School, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, UK in September 2018. It was a big success with lots of students, who had no previous experience of textile design, producing professional printed fabrics. In 2019 I increased the number of classes to cater for extra demand for tuition. In January 2019 for 20 weeks (one morning per week) I teach my design methods to a group of adults with learning difficulties. I also taught my techniques at a workshop organized by the Guild of Silk Painters, for their members in July 2019. In January 2019 I launched a new design called Paisley Prince Songbook. I originally created the design by drawing it on paper in 2018. It has been extremely popular as printed fabric with customers all over the world. The Prince-theme scarves, cushions, bags, totes and greeting cards have all been selling extremely well. Sales have exceeded 1000 items. The design has been very popular among Prince admirers and followers. The design has unique motifs symbolizing the songs of Prince Rogers Nelson, including purple rain, crying doves, paisley symbols, peace signs, guitars and tambourines. In December 2020, "Paisley Power" and "paisleypower" became registered trademarks with the UK Intellectual Property Office.
